On October 1, in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Day, we organised an informative session led by a specialist doctor to highlight the importance of early detection and timely intervention. The talk covered early symptoms, risk factors, and the role of regular self-examinations and mammograms. The speaker also discussed preventive lifestyle habits and debunked common myths that often delay diagnosis.
The interactive format encouraged open conversation, empowering women to prioritise their health and seek medical care without hesitation. This awareness session reinforced a crucial message: informed choices, routine screenings and early action can save lives in the fight against breast cancer.
